Patricia Ruel - Properties Designer

Since obtaining her degree in Scenography (1998), Patricia Ruel became one of the most talented young props and set designer in Montréal. She has worked for many important theater companies in Montréal, in pop music, circus, opera and television. She has designed props for nearly 40 theater productions, including classics of the repertoire and new Quebec drama. For television, she has participated in La Soirée des Masques (2002-2003), yearly gala for Québec theater. She has worked on the musical Roméo et Juliette (Productios Libretto, 2002) and, recently, as props designer on KÀ, a Cirque du Soleil show directed by Robert Lepage that just opened in Las Vegas (USA). In opera, she was in 2001 set designer for Brecht's Threepenny Opera produced by Saidye Bronfman Center for the Arts (Montréal).
