Since 25 years, Bernard Gilbert has developped a renowned expertise in the field of arts, culture and communication. As a general manager, project manager, producer, teacher and writer (he has published 5 books andnumerous texts since 1984), B. Gilbert has worked in theatre, music, literature, artistic events and the press. He works mainly in Canada but has been involved in projects in France and Mexico. Between 1989 and 2000, he was general manager of Théâtre Périscope and of Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec (a festival he founded), in wich organizations he has hosted many of Robert Lepage's work. Apart from Ex Machina, he works at this time as project manager for the 400th anniversary of Québec City in 2008.
